When making a resume, one should consider it to be an art and keep in mind certain factors when deciding on how far back they need to go. One has to consider the job opening that they are applying to, the breadth and depth of their experience and the quality of the achievements and accomplishments. A great option available is to write an experience of up to 10 to 12 years and after that put a foot note which will have a list of the companies you worked for and the designation you held there. Criminal Law Degree – Four Steps to a Career in Criminal Law

Pursuing a criminal law degree needs you to do quite a few things apart from your innate capability to pursue logical conclusions and good observation.

The first step is to get a degree, usually 4 years but might change from country to country. Without this degree, you might not get an entry to law school. Most law schools do not care about you major subject as much as they do about your grade point average which should be up with the best.

The next step would be to apply and appear for a law school exam which would like any other exam one gives for pursuing an MBA or MS, except that this would be a bit more oriented towards law.

The third step would be to find the right law school, apply with your score and get a seat. Unless something strange happens or you flunk your exams, you will get a law degree by the end of 3 years.

The final step would be to appear for the bar exams which is really important for lawyers. Although most things in a bar exam are from what you have studied in law school, it is something that tests your knowledge and your education to the core and hence needs a good bit of preparing.

Strange Careers You May Not Have Considered

There are many careers that seem a bit odd when you hear about them for the first time. The fact that someone is making money with that career is a good proof of concept. Secondly, you must try to find what is it about that person that makes him or her choose a strange career. Some of them are really odd while some careers are just off the track.

A career as a nanny to pets is an interesting one indeed. There are many houses where owners have lot of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits and what not. A pet nanny really needs to be someone who loves being with pets more than human beings because that is what the job demands.

Another interesting career is that of an aqua culturist. Dealing with fish and aquariums all through the day might be great for someone and boring for others.

There are some interesting careers in forensic departments like fingerprint examiner, suited for someone who loves bringing truth to light and help justice to be doled out efficiently. Being on the technical side of it, rather than the more glamorous part of cops and lawyers would be quite an interesting choice to make.

The Difference between a Job and a Career Online

There is a great difference between a job and a career online. A career online sometimes represents everything which a day job doesn’t, including freedom to work whenever you want, the way you want, in the ambience you want. A career online if well established can give a person the flexibility and independence that a day job can never ever provide.

However, a job represents more stability than a career online. There are many rules set up by governments that help people with a job but not those who work online. A person with a permanent job usually cannot be fired without notice. Even if he or she does, most employers will hand out some compensation. The employer usually provides some contribution to provident fund which person working online will not get. There is a health insurance and medical coverage while people in the most mundane of jobs get.

Pursuing a career online will mean you will have to take care of all these aspects yourself as you are completely on your own. This means you will have to build your security, insurance and strengthen your future, so you can survive for some time at least when there is a problem finding assignments online.
