The first step is to get a list of all the online degree programs that suit your need and which you would want to pursue.
The next step would be note down the timelines, the application process and the fee structure of each of the programs. Chances are that these conditions will help you strike out a few programs narrowing your list.
The third step would be to find the authenticity of each of the online programs and the accreditation they have. If you find it note it down next to the name of the program, else strike it down, thus narrowing your list further.
Apply for financial aid if you need. Some online degree programs, especially if they are from reputed colleges might be expensive. So you need to know what you can afford and what you cannot, narrowing down your list even further.
The fifth step would be to apply to these remaining online programs as far as possible. Pursue your education with the highest priority program on your list that sends you an affirmative.
